Smart Money Junior Market In-Person
Ignite your child's financial literacy journey with our innovative program designed to make learning about money management fun and interactive!
Children will have the opportunity to play as either “shoppers” or “workers” as they learn real-world financial literacy skills. As “shoppers,” children will learn the basics of budgeting and decision-making as they navigate the junior market, deciding which items to purchase with their play-money. Children wishing to play as "workers" will sign up to run the Junior Market play store on a specific day and time. As workers, children will develop skills in money management and financial responsibility as they earn and save their “playchecks” for rewards. They will learn the value of earning, saving, and budgeting as they decide whether to spend their paychecks on smaller prizes or save up for larger more valuable rewards.
